Future Life
One day I was on the bus getting taken to school and while I was sitting there I was thinking about what I was going to do with myself after school. One of the things that was always coming to mind was being involved in the video game industry.
Since I was about ten years old all that I have been doing mostly is playing video games. Video games are basically all that I do and it’s what I love. Ever since I started even playing games I’ve always wanted to make my own game. Some of the old games that I used to play that got me motivated into being involved in gaming are Mario, Donkey Kong, Mortal Kombat and Metal Gear Solid. These are the games that motivated me because I loved the way that they were made and was really interested in learning how they work.
What I have in mind for a job in the video game industry is either a game designer or game tester. These are the things that I have in mind because I would love to learn how to create games that get released like the ones today and test games and give my opinion on them. If I do get a job in any of these careers I would prefer to be working for companies like Sony or Microsoft but I would be happy with wherever I would be put.
There are many different reasons why I am so interested in getting involved into the video game industry. I’ve always had an interest game for example I am interested in how they make the people move, how they make the graphics look so realistic and how they get multiplayer to work. One of the other things that I have been interested in gaming are the ideas that are thought of that soon result in the games that me and many others play these days. And the final thing that I am interested in the gaming industry is how the game developers think of the characters like Mario, Link, Zelda, Donkey Kong and Solid Snake.
If I would happen to get a job in the video game industry I would of be very excited because I would be doing what I love to do and I would not be disappointed because I’m not doing what I love to do. So if I would happen to get a job as a video game designer I would probably make a game that is either a Role Playing Game or a First Person Shooter. What I would mostly likely make my game about is if it is a RPG (Role Playing Game) is a game that involves things about the Middle Ages with knights and dragons. And if my game is a FPS (First Person Shooter) I would base it off of a group of people trying to survive a zombie apocalypse.
And this is what I am planning on doing with my life after I get out of high school and why I am planning on being in the video game industry.
