Pt 1 of 2: I absolutely loved your story. I've always wanted to start a recycling program at my school! I hate how the Styrofoam trays at our school get thrown away everyday. And I know where it goes. It goes to a nasty, gross landfill, and I think that is unhealthy and unwise
Pt 2 of 2: We set a date and place and on April 2 we went to our church and waited for people to show up. We ended up taking 3 van loads of cans and collected $800 to give to Japan after the hurricane.

Pt 1 of 2: I heard your story and I thought it was great that you recycle. Once, our family came up with an idea called Cans for Japan. I made flyers and my little brother and I passed them around the school and got our guidance counselor to put it on the announcements.
I thought it was great because the environment is the most important thing in the world.

I think places like Construction Junction are places that inspire hope to make an environmental change in the community. Recycling should be mandatory in the USA. That's the way to make a big impact.

I am so inspired by your story. THANK YOU for helping to protect our environment. I promise to help, too.

Corporations and large companies should invest more in recyclable and environmentally safe products/containers. People need to be aware of the massive garbage building up.

The USA comprises 5% of the world total population. Our country uses 25% of the energy resources. Many people and especially politicians do not realize the amount of pollution that is created and poisons our air.

People need to start recycling! There is so much waste in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh's pollution is dreadful! We are the 5th worst waster of products in the whole U.S.A.! (comment from Big Dog)

Pt 2 of 2: of those people. Because one day everyone will wake up and they will be sitting in a lump of trash. That's why I loved your story.
