Flags Of Our Fathers

Tags: Education

Flags of Our Fathers is the current book I have been reading. It was written by John Bradley, and is about the 6 men in the iconic photo of the flag raising on Iwo Jima during WW II. In fact, one of the men was actually the father of the author of this novel. This is probably one of my favorite books. I have a passion for both history and good writing, so this book gives me the best of both worlds. It is intense, sentimental, factual, and written with purpose. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good read.
