I am always inspired by every day occurrences. There's nothing more than the relationships between people, and I always try to make my characters as believable and intimate as possible, no matter how unsettling the plot or setting they occur in. To me, writing has always been about portraying interesting relationships with evocative language. In this way, any story becomes a vehicle for a character study.
