I Was Born In China

Tags: Community

I was born in China and I traveled all the way to America for a better life. My birth mother gave me up so I was adopted by my adoptive mother. She had to fill a lot of forms out and legal documents. The orphanage was in a poverty ridden city. We weren't allowed any sun-light and our only meal is rice. When my adoptive mom got me, I was 2 1/2 years old. The plane ride took forever and I had 2 ear infections. My mom brought me home in the winter. I had never seen snow and it was a whole new experience.
