Respect

Tags: Community, Education

Respect is something that many people have in this world, but not enough. Respect in my mind is when a person shows honor and helps or does anything for anyone in need of help, without thinking twice. The reason why I show respect is because I have to, but I want to show respect and be nice to my elders. I can thank my parents for that and I'm glad. If people in this world would show more respect, it would be a better place. I show respect because there is a saying my parents told me when I was growing up - to treat people the way you want to be treated - and I've gone by that and I always will. You will never get anywhere by being mean and disrespectful to people.
