Outdoor Learning Campaign
Teachers and school districts employ a variety of different teaching strategies to help students learn, but students are the experts in how they want to be taught. For this campaign, Hear Me partnered with the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. Hear Me asked students to talk about the role that hands-on learning outdoors could or should play in their education. For the purposes of this campaign, Hear Me and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy defined outdoor environmental education as a process that allows students to learn about and investigate their environment, and to make intelligent, informed decisions about how they can take care of their environment.
